Our story

Built by a developer, for developers.

ShipRelease was born out of frustration, watching talented engineering teams spend Friday afternoons manually writing changelogs instead of shipping the next feature.

The problem we're solving

Every SaaS team releases software. Most of them dread writing the release notes. Not because they don't care about communication but because turning a list of cryptic commit messages into something readable takes time, context, and mental energy that could go toward building.

Existing tools either automate the boring parts (just reformatting commit messages) or require complex CI/CD configuration with no human touch. Neither approach produces release notes that actually communicate value to customers.

Our approach

ShipRelease does something different: it reads your actual code diffs, not just what your developers wrote in commit messages. When a commit says "fix bug" but the diff is inauth/middleware.ts, we correctly identify and surface it as an authentication fix.

Reads real diffs

Analyzes actual file changes, not just commit messages.

Detects breaking changes

Automatically flags API removals, schema changes, and signature shifts.

3 formats, one click

Technical for devs, product for your team, customer-ready for users.

Who we are

ShipRelease is built by Ferdio AI Vision, a tech company based in Lomé, Togo, with a mission to build AI-powered developer tools that save time and improve software communication globally.

We're a small, focused team that believes the best tools are the ones you barely notice — they just make your workflow feel effortless.

Our values

  • Developer-first: every decision is made thinking about the person shipping code at 11pm.
  • Honest AI: we never invent features. If the diff doesn't show it, we don't write it.
  • Privacy by design: your code never leaves your session. We analyze diffs in memory, never store them.
  • Transparent pricing: no hidden fees, no surprise charges, no dark patterns.
